VMI Theatre Presents “The Lighter Side of Military Life”

The show is a revue of military life in sketches that include satire, humor, poetry, drama, and music. This year marks the eighth edition of the show, and features lively moments from the American Revolution through World War II, and offers a variety of tunes that were popular during those times.

Maj. Shannon Quevedo, assistant professor in the chemistry department at Virginia Military Institute and whose specialty is analytical chemistry and detection of small molecules using organic phases, is working on research with two cadets to create handheld methods for testing water.
