The May 2023 Joint Commissioning Ceremony is currently scheduled for Monday, May 15 at 9:00 a.m. in Cameron Hall.

This ceremony, in which the new Officers take their commissioning oaths, marks the end of a four-year journey of education, training, and self-discovery and the beginning of a journey of military service.

Following the formal oath ceremony, each program will conduct individual "pin on" ceremonies in designated areas on VMI Post in accordance with their service traditions.

Branch-specific pinning ceremonies will be in the following locations:

• Army ROTC – TBD
• Naval ROTC – TBD
• Air Force ROTC – TBD
• Coast Guard AUP - TBD

All persons attending should be seated 15 minutes before the start.
