LEXINGTON, Va., Jan. 15, 2021—Registration is now open for the VMI Center for Leadership & Ethics 2021 Leadership Conference, “Strong Leaders, Strong Teams.” This event will be held online Feb. 15-16.

The conference programming will explore a progression of teamwork principles starting with leading self, then peer-to-peer leadership, and concluding with leading high-performing teams. Speakers, bonus interviews, and activities will contribute to each participant’s conference experience.

Featured speakers include Gen. Stanley McChrystal, USA, Ret.; Gen. Richard “Butch” Neal, U.S. Marine Corps, Ret; Shari Harley, business communications trainer; and Ben Freakley, former VMI men’s soccer coach and mental performance coach for the Toronto Blue Jays. Alumni speakers include Lester Johnson, ’95, Elise Woodworth ’07, and Capt. Joey Bishop ’14, U.S. Marine Corps.
