LEXINGTON, Va., May 15, 2017 – Watch live as 319 cadets cross the stage and receive their diplomas at VMI’s 2017 spring graduation ceremony Tuesday morning in Cameron Hall.

The commencement ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in Cameron Hall and is expected to last approximately two hours.  Live video coverage will commence at approximately 10:45 a.m.

VMI superintendent Gen. J.H. Binford Peay III ’62 will provide introductory remarks followed by a speech by valedictorian Drew Borinstein.

Retired Gen. John P. Jumper ’66, president of the VMI Board of Visitors and former Air Force chief of staff, will give the commencement address with an introduction by 1st Class president Hamp A. Beddoes ’17. Gen. Peay will announce the honors and awards and confer degrees to graduates.
