LEXINGTON, Va., Jan. 9, 2017 – Events in downtown Lexington are expected to complicate traffic patterns as cadets return from Christmas Furlough Jan. 15, especially in the afternoon.  It is recommended that the Jordan's Point entrance be used to access post.

This is the route used to reach the Parade Ground for tailgating during football games. No traffic issues are expected on U.S. Route 11 from the north.

The barracks will open at 9 a.m. To avoid congestion during the afternoon hours, it is suggested that cadets arrive between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. or after 5 p.m. All cadets must sign in by end of furlough at 10 p.m. on Jan. 15.
