Operations and Planning
The Office of Operations and Planning (O&P) supports the unique needs of No Ordinary College through carefully planning, organizing, and overseeing day-to-day operational tasks and long-term planning goals aimed at increasing efficiency and implementing cost-effective systems and solutions.
Working in coordination with divisions and departments across post, O&P serves as a liaison between stakeholders and Institute administration, providing leadership, guidance, and expert knowledge to harness Institute resources and staff as they support the overall mission and goals of VMI, particularly in regard to the Institute's strategic plan, Forging 21st Century Leaders.
From calendar coordination and room scheduling, to emergency management and post-wide safety, O&P plays an integral role in keeping VMI functioning at the high level of efficiency and professionalism required of the nation's oldest state-supported military college as it produces honorable leaders of the future.
