Adjunct Position for Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at the Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, VA, seeks to fill adjunct position(s).  Appointment date is to start August 30, 2022; however, new adjuncts are required to complete the New Faculty Orientation Program on 18-19 August 2022 .  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 graduate hours of chemistry credits; Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry is preferred.  Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.  Primary teaching responsibilities will be general chemistry lectures and labs; class sizes are usually 18-24 cadets.

Virginia Military Institute is a state-supported four-year undergraduate military college of liberal arts, engineering, and the sciences. It is in the southern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
