Security Minor Challenges Cadets

VMI’s national security minor allows a select number of cadets to take on more challenge than the Institute already offers. As part of the minor, Jacob Van Dyke ’19 studied in Tokyo during the summer of 2018 and interviewed Japanese military personnel about U.S.-Japan relations.

Faculty Develop Interdisciplinary Study Abroad

In summer 2019, there will be a new opportunity for cadets interested in study abroad—and a cross-departmental one at that. “The Economics and Politics of the European Union,” will take cadets through Slovenia, Germany, and Belgium.

Ashesi University Partnership

In mid-January, representatives of Ghana's Ashesi University traveled to post to meet with representatives of VMI to discuss a collaboration that will include a student exchange program, faculty exchanges, an exchange of publications, and collaborative research projects.
